For ticket purchasers
Ticket Purchase Terms
The terms for buying tickets through Find What's On.
Effective 11 October 2026
1. Who these terms are for
Find What’s On provides the ticketing platform. The organiser identified on the event and at checkout is the event supplier and is responsible for presenting the event, its event-specific conditions and the accuracy of its event information. Find What’s On is not the venue, performer or event promoter unless it says so clearly for a particular event.
These ticket terms work with the Find What’s On general Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, the organiser’s event information and any event-specific conditions shown before confirmation. A term cannot remove a right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. Price and fees
Checkout shows the ticket subtotal, any attendee-paid Find What’s On booking fee, GST treatment where applicable, any other approved component and the final total before confirmation.
The Find What’s On fee is 3.5% plus A$0.75 per paid ticket and is GST inclusive. The organiser may absorb that fee or have it added transparently for the attendee. Free tickets have no Find What’s On fee. Find What’s On Credits and Growth Points cannot pay for tickets.
3. Orders and confirmation
Your order is confirmed only when FWO records the required payment confirmation or completes a free registration. You will receive an order reference and each issued ticket will have its own entry identity.
You must provide accurate purchaser and attendee information. If you buy for another attendee, you must be authorised to provide their details and make these terms and the event conditions available to them.
Your FWO ticket wallet is the current record of your FWO order and ticket status. Do not rely on an email arriving as the only evidence of a booking. The organiser is responsible for the purchaser receipt and a tax invoice when required. An FWO order summary is not itself a tax invoice; contact the organiser if you need that document.
4. Tickets and entry
A ticket may be checked only once. Refunded, void, replaced or already-used tickets cannot be used for entry. FWO may refresh a secure entry token and retire an older token to prevent reuse.
Age, accessibility, identification, arrival-time and venue conditions must be disclosed where relevant. Lawful safety directions still apply. A transfer or resale right exists only when the event or FWO expressly provides one; do not assume a ticket can be transferred.
5. Cancellation, postponement and major changes
If the organiser chooses to cancel an event or makes a major change, you may be entitled to a refund or another remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. A major change can include a significant date, venue or advertised-program change, depending on the circumstances.
Where an event cannot proceed because of a third party, government restriction, safety issue or another circumstance outside the organiser’s control, available remedies may depend on the circumstances, applicable law and the terms disclosed for that event.
6. Refunds
Change-of-mind refunds are available only where the organiser’s disclosed policy or applicable law provides them. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer guarantees or another non-excludable statutory right.
For a refund approved through FWO’s native refund flow, each selected ticket is refunded in full. This applies to approved change-of-mind or discretionary refunds, organiser cancellation, postponement or major changes where a refund is available, and refunds required by law. If you paid the FWO fee, the refund includes that ticket’s price and its 3.5% plus A$0.75 FWO fee. If the organiser absorbed the fee, you receive the ticket price you paid; FWO returns that ticket’s fee to the organiser, not an extra amount to you. Free tickets have no FWO fee to return.
A partial order refund means refunding selected whole tickets, including their associated FWO fees; unselected tickets are unchanged. The native flow does not offer arbitrary part-ticket amounts. Processor fees are the organiser’s responsibility and are not deducted from this purchaser refund. A refund is not complete merely because it has been requested: payment-provider confirmation is required. Statutory remedies, including any other remedy or compensation required by law, take priority over these workflow limits and must be handled with support when the native flow cannot provide them.
7. Purchaser and attendee information
FWO and the organiser may use purchaser and attendee information to process the order, deliver tickets, communicate material event changes, provide support, administer refunds and operate check-in. Relevant information may be shared with the organiser for those purposes.
FWO’s native ticket checkout does not ask for medical, dietary or accessibility details. Do not put sensitive information in a free-text field. If a future event flow needs a specific accessibility or safety detail, it must explain why it is needed, ask for any required consent and limit access to people who need it for that event.
Optional FWO marketing permission is separate from accepting these terms. It is not preselected, is not required for a booking, and can be withdrawn from My tickets. Transactional ticket, safety, change and refund messages do not depend on marketing consent.
8. Problems and support
Use the support details shown with your order and describe the event, order reference and outcome you are seeking. Payment-provider dispute or chargeback rights may also apply. If a payment dispute or chargeback has already been started, tell FWO when requesting a refund so the same transaction is not processed twice. This does not limit your right to use your payment provider’s dispute process.
The version accepted with your order remains part of the order evidence. Updated terms apply prospectively unless a lawful change is clearly communicated and accepted where required.

Earlier accepted versions remain part of the relevant order record.
