Drill Hall Lane is one of The Levee's gathering spaces, featuring the street art mural 'Take Me To The River'. Curated by local artist Alex Umpwell, the artwork focuses on the connection between Maitland and the Hunter River, with the laneway itself acting as a direct link between The Levee and the riverside walk. 'Take Me To The River' forms part of Maitland's Art Trail which incorporates a range of galleries and public art installations.
