About this place
What to expect
Malua Bay Beach, on George Bass Drive south of Batemans Bay, is one of the most popular beaches on the Eurobodalla South Coast, in one of the region's most popular holiday spots. A large grassy reserve sits right beside the sand, with picnic tables, barbecues and kids' play equipment. Nearby shops and cafes and plenty of parking make it easy to spend the whole day here with family or friends, with toilets and showers close by. The beach is patrolled during summer. The Surf Life Saving Club is at the southern end of the beach, where there is additional parking at the clubhouse precinct. The Munjip Trail runs along the beach and reserve, so you'll find Aboriginal art and installations to discover along the way. Dogs are allowed on a time-share basis, before 9am and after 5pm from 1 November to 30 April and at any time from 1 May to 31 October, but not within 10 metres of the playground and food areas on the reserve.
