Colour and connection
Five artists. Five perspectives. One shared passion for painting.
Colour & Connection brings together five artists, Elisabeth Brain, Jenny Bridgman, Jean Collins, Joan O'Brien and Judy Spain, each with their own distinctive approach to painting, yet connected by a genuine love of colour, creativity and the process of putting paint to canvas.
At the heart of Colour & Connection is the idea that no two artists see quite the same way. Each brings their own experiences, observations and visual language to the canvas, creating works that are personal, individual and open to interpretation.
What connects them is not a single style or subject, but the joy of painting itself, the experimentation, the discovery and, of course, a healthy love of pigment.
The artists are delighted to share this collection and hope the exhibition sparks curiosity, conversation and perhaps even a renewed appreciation for the simple, powerful pleasure of paint.
