Build a useful local event sponsor package
Offer specific audience value and deliverables your event team can actually fulfil and report.
A sponsor package is a delivery proposal, not a page of logo sizes. It should explain the event, the relevant audience, what the sponsor contributes and what the organiser can reliably provide in return.
Start with fit
Describe the event purpose, location, audience and confirmed program. Use evidence you actually hold, such as previous attendance, permissioned subscriber information or current registrations. State the limits. Do not combine followers and partner audiences into an unsupported reach claim.
Define the contribution
Record whether the sponsor provides cash, goods, services, promotion or expertise. Include due dates, valuation assumptions and any costs the organiser must carry to fulfil the arrangement.
Build deliverables from available inventory
- useful event-page acknowledgement or partner story;
- permissioned email or social inclusion with approved wording;
- on-site space, demonstration or hospitality that fits the event;
- tickets or access with clear quantities and conditions;
- post-event evidence the team can collect accurately.
Limit the number of packages to what the audience experience and team capacity can support. Avoid promising customer data, guaranteed sales, editorial control or placement the venue has not approved.
Show a sample package clearly
For each option, list contribution, inclusions, important exclusions, artwork deadlines, approval process, event-change treatment and reporting date. If packages are tailored, explain the starting scope rather than publishing a misleading fixed tier.
Track fulfilment
Create a shared checklist with owner, due date, asset status and evidence for every deliverable. Review the relationship after the event using agreed measures, not only impressions.
Sponsorship terms, advertising disclosures, intellectual property, cancellation and data handling require appropriate review. For promotional collaboration without a sponsorship package, use the event partnership guide.
